Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Bucket List vs Scent of a Woman. Caught this show with Jess, Steph, Elaine and Vivian yesterday at Vivo. Was expecting quite alot from it because of the 2 movie greats . Nicholson put up a good performance with his funny expressions. However, I did not feel touch by the movie at all. Two of my friends cried when watching it. What about other simpler things in life? Saturday, November 24, 2007. Thai Noodle House, Coronation Road. Portions are slightly small. And prices are slightly big. At the time of Sunday Times' coverage, these 2 dishes were $6 each. Apparently, within a month or so after free publicity, prices have increased by a dollar! Inflation in action. or maybe not. Taste wise, I felt that both dishes were reasonable. Perhaps the Sunday Times reporter hasn't gone to Thailand or even Little Thailand. Definitely had much more. Wednesday, November 21, 2007.

Saturday, December 22, 2007. Filipino Food @ Lucky Plaza. Basically, filipino food is just like any local chinese food, its non-halal for e.g. We ordered Chap Cai Peng ($4.50) and BBQ stick sunny egg rice ($6/-) (Look @ the pics would be better) The meat stick is cold and tough but q. tasty. The egg is normal lo. The veggies in the 2nd dish is v nice! Soft and also tasty But one meat and one veggie for $4.50 is outrageous!
