Thursday, November 4, 2010. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Some significant and not significant things. This is a digital color comp for a screen print I did for class. I like this version better, the screen print is darker and without the white. Either way I dug the drawing and I'm glad I got to flesh it out in a different way than I usually work. Ely (senior thesis project) about suicide among gay adolescents and young adults. Some more paintings to come, maybe scanned prints too. Monday, November 1, 2010.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. The last of the King days. This is my final piece for Paul King's class, my Dirty War piece about the human condition (the painting of my sketch from the last post.) I Sprayed a bronze base, then worked up the acrylic, and lots and lots of layers of words. The plays on these words themselves were what made the aftermath harder to cope with.
