Guilty! - A Whole Mess of Badgers
http://airynd.livejournal.com/268966.html
June 11th, 2009 (12:13 am). I have been successfully cajoled into making a reappearance here in LJ-land - oh hi; how have you been? If anyone is indeed still reading this, and I can't imagine anyone is, pretty huge news today; Mike and I are getting a house! Not a rental house! We'd increased intensity on the search for rental homes, with an eye toward buying eventually, after we'd saved up some more money. The milk and honey of the zero-down-payment is long-gone, right? Last weekend, I saw this:. Sunday...

The Terrorists Have Won - inanna's demesne

The mundane and the sublime. The Terrorists Have Won. Sep 9th, 2011 at 11:14 AM. Harsh but looking at what the United States of America has become in the past decade i can come up with no other conclusion. We have been trained to live in fear and to fear our neighbors. Are they brown? Fear them. Do the women cover their hair? Fear them. Do they have an accent? Fear them. Have they visited or do they have relatives in the middle east? Fear them. Are they anything but a fundie Christian? Add in the fact th...

Snip - Turning in the widening gyre. March 10th, 2004. 09:15 am - Snip. I drop people from my Friends list rarely, and for only a few reasons: One is people who are ostensibly part of my regular social circle, but whom I have little or no personal contact with. I tend to be very patient waiting for people to add me back, but people in that category who don't add me back after some time tend to get snipped (particularly if they post infrequently). March 10th, 2004 09:22 am (UTC). I'm still on the list!

Not Guilty, Your Honor". Cause all the cool kids are doing it. Powered by LiveJournal.com. Mar 1st, 2006. I used to tell people, lo these many years ago, that there were several things I could be bribed with. Good hardware or software. I've come to the conclusion that I was showing a lack of imagination. Today my list would read something like this:. Time (as in, to spend together, preferably doing something hedonistic or craftsy or just fun). Good massage (do I really need to explain? October 9th, 2006. Today I am thankful that I don't live in Sudan, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq, New Orleans - or North Korea! Sunday 8 October 2006. Our country is self-sufficient but it's boiled rice and cabbage for. Breakfast, lunch and supper'. By Sergey Soukhorukov in Pyongyang and Gethin Chamberlain. It is difficult to meet a fat North Korean in the streets of Pyongyang, let alone in the smaller outlying cities and towns. Two years ago, North Korea, which has invested more in its nuclear we...

Operation Fly in Betsy - WOW. Operation Fly in Betsy - WOW. But then our brilliant. Had a brilliant idea: ask the Internet for help, offering a private concert and/or monthly goodies to contributors - and the magic would happen. And it DID. With amazing alacrity. And I am absolutely GOBsmacked. Not only because of the generous contributions (and the fact that suddenly I DO get to go to PhilCon OMGOMG) - but because of the concurrent outpouring of love and support. I love you all. How is this my life.
