Live to serve: Sanity, what sanity?
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2009/10/sanity-what-sanity.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Sanity, what sanity? Yesterday I was looking for my sanity all day. Maybe some of it was lost in the frantic scramble to get the knife out of reach of my extraordinarily tall son perched on the kitchen stool while I was preparing lunch. Or maybe it was when the too short dog copied her human sidekick's antics ended up stealing half of Colton's lunch off the counter by way of that stool. What makes me know that they are unusually heavy?

Live to serve: April 2011
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Sunday, April 3, 2011. The debut of Kareena Elizabeth. This week has been a whirlwind of my normal activities, and this past 9 months have been filled with fervent praying for this labor and delivery. I write this labor story with every intention of giving God all of the Glory, as his hand was in every detail. We went to my husband's parent's house for dinner, and I ate a ton, just in case. That was a blessing. And I even kept it down! My back was aching and I was c...

Live to serve: August 2009
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Warning: contains "down and dirty" cloth diaper talk. Diapers have been on my mind lately. I miss plastic diapers. The nice baby powdery smell, the roll 'em up, throw them away ease, and the niceity of having them both upstairs and down at the same time. Ahhh, those were the days. So I decided to post a real, honest evaluation of cloth diapers vs. good ole' expensivo plastic ones (huggies is what I used to buy). Oh, and since I'm on the to...

Live to serve: April 2009

Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Saturday, April 25, 2009. You know how when you are sitting in a bible study, at church during a sermon, or just reading God's word all by yourself and everything that is being heard. Applies to someone in your life other than yourself? It's actually kind of distracting. I think, "Wow, I wish. Prayer, obviously, but beyond that it gets fuzzy. When you see them, do you pretend everything is ok? It gets so confusing. Was she ever saved? Will she ever return to the arm...

Live to serve: Baby #4's anticipated forthcoming
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2010/11/baby-4s-anticipated-forthcoming.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Baby #4's anticipated forthcoming. Last week we found out that we are having a girl. As I took in the news, flashes of pink laundry, and Colton being surrounded by girls was the first thing to flood my mind. What little talents will she posess? Will she love puzzles, music, singing, drawing, being outside or inside? So at my ultrasound, I asked the tech if he could clear up my due date. My doc thinks I'm about a week ahead of what i th...

Live to serve: September 2009
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Colton was 17 months old last week. Niah is a lively 5 and Olivia is officially 3 1/2. Colton is still crawling more than he is walking, but it is getting to closer to a 50/50 ratio. He has managed to smash his mouth to a bleeding state at least 3 times, and I'm amazed his teeth have survived so far. He loves to dance (more like a break dance style since he's shaky on his feet) and is getting. Good at saying "no". Oh, and he. While later...

Live to serve: Less irritation, more delight
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2009/10/less-irritation-more-delight.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Thursday, October 8, 2009. Less irritation, more delight. I tried to do went so terribly wrong today. Breakfast included complaining about scrambled eggs, and having to load the dishwasher ". Insert dramatic 5 year old sigh here). Our morning devotions were accompanied by Colton folding and stepping all over the bible verse cards, fussing that I wasn't holding him, and mad about wanting more breakfast. Longer, yet so much shorter. And somehow, my son finds it incred...

Live to serve: so what can I eat?
http://undsrvd.blogspot.com/2009/11/so-what-can-i-eat.html
Servin' my sweeties one day at a time. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. So what can I eat? After trying so many different types of supplements, medicines and prunes, to no avail, I have chosen the hard road. Diet. I hate that word. I was sucked into all this by just going gluten free for one week. I did feel a little better. Crap. So then the next week I went gluten free, and dairy free. I did feel a touch better than before. So what do I do now? More answers to come hopefully, as I get them. I decided to sta...
