Pacific Northwest Nature for Families. Share our family's nature adventures in the Pacific Northwest. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Pekin Ducks at DeCoursey Park. About a week and a half ago we visited DeCoursey Park. In Puyallup, WA. It's a small, pleasant park with the sweetest ducks. It was wet at the time, and part of the pathway was covered, but we enjoyed our time there much in part to these two adorable ducks. I think they are Pekin ducks. Also known as Long Island ducks, a type of domesticated duck.
