Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Rock it out now while you still can. Today was a sureal, life lesson kind of day. I was helping a family friend move her eighty two year old. Mother who had been, up until today, living in the same house since she was married. She Was a school teacher. She lost her husband years ago. Her son ( our friend's brother ) had been living in the house the past few years and taking care of her. How did that happen? I don't know but somehow I find myself there today. And it was CRAZY!

Sunday, October 12, 2008. First it's the pumpkins which we have to get 6 of them. One for each child and then of course the family pumpkin. When they are all lit it looks like the porch is on fire there are so many of the them. The carving of the 6 pumpkins alone is PURE madness. Then of course the costumes which seem to cost at least $30 a piece and typically fall apart while they are trick or treating since they are made so cheap or they take them off since they "itch". Free candy are you kidding me?

So laying in bed last night the spoiled one was brushing my hair "which I LOVE" and she keeps rubbing her hand over my hair and then brushing, I think nothing of this as I just love having my hair brush and few minutes go by and she says "just a little more spit and I think I'll have it mom" WHAT! Did she just say a little more spit? I asked her what she was doing? Don't wipe that booger on your brother! Her head fell off. Where did her head go?

Friday, August 24, 2007. Moms Don't get Sick. I don't know who told me this lie but it is not true at all. I wake up this morning to a soaked 8 month old, so much for the expensive diapers they don't work either. I go to wake up the spoiled one and she is buring up. GREAT! They never get charged if they are late, I bet they would be on time if it worked that way. It's strep, how the heck do you get strep in 100 degree weather? Toilet seats up, stained underwear, dirty dishes in the bedroom, smelly shoes/socks, trash, trash, trash, and did I mention the smell? Who eats pudding in bed? Makes no sense to me. I am afraid on a daily basis of what I will find. I need to figure out how to teach them better or I will NEVER visit them when they move for fear of what i will find. Links to this post.
