October 26, 2012. We have a cute little pumpkin patch down the road from us. It's perfect for kids Kara's age. They have a corn pit, hay mazes and hay stacks, animals, and a tractor ride. We've gone a few times and Kara has thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Oh how I love Fall. Queen of the hay pile! She's not mad, just trying to say "cheese" a little unsuccessfully. September 17, 2013. We were able to go to Hawaii with Trevor's family this past August and is was. They have a time share for house on the beach (. We were out in the water by 8:30 most mornings. Can it get any better than that? Turtle Bay to see the turtles, of course. Shave ice (We tried 3 different places and Matsumoto's is definitely the best). Ingesting lots of tropical fruit and juices. Bobbing in the ocean (one of my favorite things to do). Long walks on the beach. And a little more of Kylee crying.

November 30, 2012. It And we just happened to be looking at the sea lions when the trainers came out to work with them, so they were actually active, unlike most of the other animals. Well, I guess the elephants moved a little and one of them even made some noise. The girls kept saying, "more animals" so I think they liked the experience. Seriously, SO cool. April 16, 2013. April 15, 2013. Easter was a wonderful day this year. It was sunny and warm and Kara had a blast. She loved all her new toys, which included colored bubbles, a purple bunny, Hello Kitty sunglasses, a little apron made by Grandma Bodily, and a sand toy set. She also loved the abundance of candy she had access to. By the end of the day she randomly and loudly sighed/exclaimed, "CANDY! I just think she's the cutest thing ever. Kara has hit the "Why? January 5, 2014. The Reason For The Season. December was a crazy month. I want to say that it was crazy because we were having fun, but I can't really think of the fun things we did. Mostly, I remember feeling stressed out. Stressed out about getting the house decorated, purchasing presents, working a few days at the lab, dealing with sickness and lots of sassiness from Kara, and freezing. December 20, 2013. This happened today and I don't want to forget it. It was one of those things that made me think, "Welcome to being a mom of more than one child.". This was made possible because the door handle is on backward. I didn't put it like that, the builders did, but I haven't taken the time to fix it. Screaming, amazingly enough!
