http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. Further proof the season is off. My early blooming iris is blooming in MARCH with my grape hyacinths, tulips, and late blooming daffodils. CRAZY! Plus all the iris up there already have bloom stalks up. It was nice to catch so many of my flowers blooming. The first 2 I've never been able to live at my house to see bloom. About a Bug: October 2012
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 25, 2012. Finally it's not summer on the blog! I went onto Picasa and erased 4 old header photos, plus a few other images. It worked. But I still don't understand why I could load another 25 on the last post, but not 1 measly header photo. Almost a month ago we had the opportunity to go to a music/nature day camp for free. It was amazing. Here is Matthew in hand drumming. Right after lunch Matthew performed with some of the kids that took the morning Kindermusik classes. Phil arrived at...

About a Bug: Loose
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012/10/loose.html
Sunday, October 14, 2012. As in yesterday Matthew found that one of his first baby teeth is loose! Slightly anyway. But enough to cause great excitement in the kingdom. :) Stay tuned for further developments. And hopefully more photos this week. How much does the tooth fairy give nowadays anyway? October 15, 2012 at 1:59 PM. Ive heard that some going rates are as much as $5, $10, but I can guarantee the tooth fairy that visits our house will be poorer then that! October 15, 2012 at 2:22 PM.

About a Bug: June 2012
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. 3rd baseman this game. It was horribly windy, poor guy came in with dirt in his eyes. It was homemade red velvet cake. Not a huge hit, just the homemade seven minute frosting, yum yum! One of his favorite gifts was a rope. He wants to be a real cowboy. So he's been roping an old vacuum. "Gotta rope this steer.". Ok, I'll put it over.". Take it down.". Tie them up, done! Game 3.on our 5th birthday. He took time out to smile on 1st base for the photo, and I didn't ask him too!

The Farrm: September 2013
http://thefarrm.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Our 2nd Annual Canoeing Adventure to the. Sammamish River Slough was a great success! 17 explorers and 7 canoes. Five miles and Five hours round trip, and only one canoe capsized -. Can you guess whose canoe it was? It was an exhilarating joint effort! Maybe a little "ducky", but warm enough! For some reason no one wanted to join us. Unfortunately we don't have photos. Of the "Canoe Wars", the splashing and overtaking, the racing and paddling. A great end to summer vacation.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. The Winter Garden 2012. The snow we received a couple weeks ago is all gone now. But boy did we get a healthy dose of it! The temperatures are back to mildish-. High 40's in the day hours, just about freezing at night. I am overjoyed to report that the garden was none the worse for wear. In fact, we have had some unseasonably wonderful days,. And I perchance had my camera handy. Here I have some before and after shots to share. Chard, by fence. Bok Choy, behind stick on left.

Sunday, May 27, 2012. Hike to Lena Lake. We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, exploring the wonders of the Northwest's mountain forests. We hiked 2 hours to Lena lake and enjoyed unseasonably nice weather and the company of some of our favorite friends. We each carried our own backpacks with the necessities:. Water, sweatshirt, hotdogs, s'mores. And this Little Sister had 5 BOOKS packed into her pack before I checked it and. Convinced her to only pack her bird identification book! We have had a wonde...

The Farrm: October 2013
http://thefarrm.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Roxy passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 28th, around 3pm. She was about 10 years old. She was in one of her usual spots in front of the office door, waiting for "her boy" Seth, to complete some Chemistry classwork. Earlier that morning she bounded energetically over to get her ball so we could play. We held a memorial for her after her burial which was beneath an apple tree in our front yard. We recalled some of our favorite antics from her life:. The P...

Tuesday, December 11, 2012. From Boy to Man. I sent this first photo to Joshua last week and this is the response I received:. Wow my goodness, I looked at that picture of Noelle and I, and it was really weird. I am soooo not that boy anymore. I don´t even remember being him. That´s so weird. Its like it´s a different person. Can you see that change in him! 2012 Campina Grande, Brazil. Conversion walks out into the tempest, to bring lost sheep into the shelter.".
