RFC 3261 Simplified: Session Initiation Protocol Part-Five. June 7, 2015. We have captured a sample call between Tarzan & Jane to use as an example in this tutorial. In this call, Tarzan has the extension 55555 and the IP address of 192.168.1.11 whereas the AsteriskNOW PBX has the IP address of 192.168.1.16. Similar to part IV, since AsteriskNOW is a B2BUA acting like UAS of Jane, we will be focusing only on the communication between Tarzan & AsteriskNOW PBX. Requests are simply logical conclusions.
