There's only so much an aquariist can take of a snail infestation! Today, I drew my line! I got a tupaware container, filled it with water from my 29 gallon, went to my 10 gallon, caught all my fish, stuck them in there, put them in my 29 (And I hope my other fish don't eat them! A little more specific. I want to redo my 29 gallon tank but it's so hard to describe to people what exactly I want. Since I've had it, I've had tetras and danios but I really want it to calm down and have color but not too much. Here's the best description of the kind of fish I'm looking for:. I was almost thinking about Discus but they're just too freaking expensive! 1-2 schools of some sort of small tight-schooling fish with color that offsets the larger ones. X-posted to fish communities).

January 1, 2006. One of my ottocinclus catfish. I've got 5 of them in this tank. One out of 2 of my dwarf corydoras catfish. I don't remember the real. Name of them, but that's how they have them labeled at my LFS. I'm. Waiting for them to get more in stock so I can make a beautiful school. 3 of my 7 Harlequin Rasboras. Best thing about this is that I only paid for 6. I don't know where the 7th one came from. I like this picture. It's very detailed. Do any of you know how to sex these guys? My one and on...

Experiences for compatability would be nice. Basically what I'm asking for is everyone's input on "If you had a 29 gallon freshwater tank, what would you put in it? Post a new comment. Something different- a fish update! Rosey Tetras and one of my Cories in the background. Rosey Tetras with my Flying Fox. Gosh I love that little dude! Ok, moving along. 1 of 2 Pearl Danios. I lost the majority of my stock about 2-3 months ago due to a fungus infestation. Those lost included 2 Madagascar Rainbows, 1 Pearl Danio, 2 Zebra Danios (not my babies! My last one just recently passed but it was about time for her to go), and my Farlowella Catfish. Man, that was my expensive fish, too!

How about this....: fish_geek

So, I think I may have figured out what I want to put in my 29 FW tank:. 1 Apistogramma Borelli (beautiful little guy). 5 or 6 Neon Dwarf Rainbows (maybe). So, yeah. I'm not trading in my bottom feeders but I will need to get new algae eaters because all I have in my 29 are my Otocinclus Catfish and those belong in my 10. I'll be looking for another school of fish but I'll be thinking about that a little bit more. Does anyone have any information and/or experience with any of those fish?

The nardoo I put in my new tank on thursday is growing at an almost unbelievable rate. I'm not exaggerating either, i've been measuring them. It's putting out new fronds, roots and shoots like there was no tomorrow, despite me making the mistake of trying to put laterite into a tank already half-full of water, and reducing it to tomato soup.
