Wednesday, July 06, 2011. We planted so many potatoes this year! They started dying so I harvested some. Thinking it was blight but I do believe it. Was the heat and drought! Starting to come back so we will see. We had some of the Bailey littles while Jen was in Texas for. Her stepmom's funeral so we put them to work! Called me mommy the whole time.I didn't tell Jen. Until she arrived back home. You put it in and cover it over! My little Finn planting yellow Finn potatoes! I am a sentimental sucker!

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. This is in my kitchen. I haven't turned my air conditioning on yet (until just now). We have an attic fan and have been leaving our windows open. Tonight we left the kitchen light on for several hours and because we need to replace several of our screens, we noticed tons of little bugs everywhere. This was Maggie's tea party and it was a blast! We had a million little cute girls here, Andi brought her three-Amelia-Anna-Alia, Audie toted Maggie Beth, and Erin carted Emma, Jen had Chloe and Emma bean and Jen Saunders brought little Isabella. Precious. Now for posting Bren's party which has already happened as-well-oh-well.

Monday, April 19, 2010. He still sleeps half the day. Of course he immediately received the mandatory bandana! He loves to be in someone's lap and Bren is happy to oblige! We have a new dog! We picked him up from the adoption center on Friday and he is already a firm member of the Griggs family! He is a soft coated Wheaton Terrier which is an Irish breed-thus deserving an Irish name, so Seamus (pronounced Shay-mus) it is! He is 4 months old and barely sheds which makes him the perfect dog!

So my Mother believes everything tastes better with parsley…preferably, a lot of parsley. If the recipe calls for 1/2 cup, why not double that amount? 1 box couscous cooked according the box directions. 1 red pepper chopped. 1/2 seeded, peeled english cucumber chopped. 1 can drained rinsed garbanzo beans. 1/2 chopped red onion. 1 C toasted sliced almonds. 1 C dried cranberries. 1/4 C olive oil.

Oh, I just happened to be standing outside the back door of the rental house in Sea Ranch. Where we spent the last four days and every day we were there was just as beautiful as the day before. Did I say beautiful? I meant to say s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g! And to take photos. My activity level was only matched by the sea lions. Was breathing and moving at the same time.
