And, how can we perceive it differently? We create busy lives, because we have become conditioned to be busy. We have equated busy to being successful. The Sister Hawk Blog. Softening Warrior- A New Poem. What do you want? Digging in the Dirt. August 9, 2015. With these rains have come plants I didn’t know existed. They are mysterious plants with thorns, burrs, and defense mechanisms that may or may not turn into flowers. We see these weeds or plants as pests and arguably unfortunate details that are crowding out beautiful daisies, grass, and the richness that earth offers. We have to dig in the dirt, and dig through weeds to find the magic (sometimes).

The Sister Hawk Blog. The Art of Being Busy. Softening Warrior- A New Poem →. July 20, 2015. When, I opened this story again three days ago all I did was cry. I sat there and cried. I re-read some of the stories about the kids I taught and my heart was broken all over again. I re-read about the anger, frustration, and the unbelievable that happened on a daily basis. And, I re-read about the love–the love of teaching, and love for my students. Where are the words? I get to start over with a clean slate.

Sister Kayla Haws' Missionary Experiences. Irvine California 2013 - 2015. Thursday, March 19, 2015. LAST EMAIL ON A MISSION! March 2, 2015. And with that, I am down to my last 48 hours. It is so weird to think that I was a missionary for so long! I feel like I just started, and now it's all over. I have loved every minute of the service of the Lord. One thing I have learned as a missionary is that if you let it, life will pass you by. So, whenever you feel like life is too fast, SLOW DOWN! I love you all!
