Marriage and Family Matters. Teaching Children About Sexuality. This week in class we talked about sexuality. In our Mormon culture we don’t really talk about it a lot, so at times it became somewhat awkward in our class. So if it is awkward to talk about among college students how are we suppose to teach our children? Do we need to teach them at all? If yes, then at what age to start? If you young parents do not know where to start, the church provided an excellent resource that can help you to organize...

Marriage and Family Matters. This week we had an interesting lesson about cultures. We learned how family relations might differ depending on the culture of the family. I thought it was very interesting to learn. It made me think about my culture and whether or not it affected my family. As I thought about it, I realized that it’s hard to determent whether the influence I had was influence of my culture or just my unique family or my personality. It is probably combination of all three. May 22, 2013.
