Exploring your journey with Jesus. Monthly Archives: December 2012. In this Advent season, we are being encouraged to prepare for the coming of a Prophet, Priest and King in the form a tiny baby boy. God becoming flesh. We even sing a song with the lyric, “come now near EXPECTED. Jesus”. We know what to EXPECT. Maybe, maybe not. Depends where you find yourself in the salvation story. The Saviour in a manger? Or just a baby in a straw bed with a bunch of animals, shepherds, and wisemen bringing gifts?

This 19,000 square foot club looks more like a cozy mountain lodge than a health club. The front desk is set off to the side of the lobby in order to be more welcoming and less in-your-face. Classical music is playing and the lobby doubles as an art gallery. We don't issue membership cards. Instead we work hard to learn everyone's name. The Times They Are a-Changin'.
