A week-by-week look at the Montreal Canadiens. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Some observations on tonight's Montreal-Ottawa game:. Claude Julien has to start instilling a sense of discipline in his team. The Canadiens probably lead the league in too-many-men penalties, and they got another one tonight. It's embarrassing for a coach to continually get penalties like that, because it exposes the level of disorganization on the bench. More importantly, it's an idiotic penalty that could be avoided. A week-by-week look at the Montreal Canadiens. Saturday, April 29, 2006. RDS is now reporting that Steve Bégin. Will return tomorrow night for Game 5. What a relief that is - the Canadiens need him badly. Bégin will hopefully provide the spark the Habs need to get back on track in this series. In other good news, RDS is also reporting that Saku Koivu's injury. That while he was released from hospital, Koivu is not yet cleared to play. Only time will tell on this one. Hockey Country: April 2006
http://hockeycountry.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
A weblog dedicated to tracking the trials and tribulations of the Ottawa Senators and the rest of the National Hockey League cmcmurtry@gmail.com. Saturday, April 29, 2006. Ottawa 3 Tampa Bay 2. Shows what I know. I figured, based on how easily they folded in game four, that the Tampa Bay Lightning had no life left in them and would roll over in game give. That was not the case. I'm going to quickly go over tonight's game because I plan to wrap up the entire series from the Sens perspective Monday. Lined ...

A week-by-week look at the Montreal Canadiens. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Saku Koivu will indeed be playing tonight against the Islanders in New York. No word on the Habs' five other Olympians, although I assume that, since they have had a few more days of rest than Koivu, they will be in the lineup as well. Posted by d b @ 5:45 PM.
