VampireOwlCat: July 2005

I can see three times as well in the dark! Tuesday, July 05, 2005. Have You Seen the Little Piggies? I had an argument the other day with a guy about how to bring about real change. He was saying change has to happen outside. The system, because otherwise we will just be contributing to and perpetuating the current system. But in order to feel that way, you must see everything. One part of the system, capitalism, is. I'm using it to go out to eat." "Electric-hybrid car? At the same time, we're (or some o...

I can see three times as well in the dark! Sunday, February 18, 2007. A Love Song to Music. The Soul Speaks 2/6/06. I turn you on. Sound roars in my ears. You speak to me in waves,. You speak to me in vibrations. You turn a switch in me. I am riding on the wings of sound. The wind blows past me, tosses my hair. Moving through years of passion and sorrow. I breathe in memories through the air. You are not of this world. And I am not in this world. When you speak to me. I’m lost in thought, in time.

VampireOwlCat: December 2007
http://vampireowlcat.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
I can see three times as well in the dark! Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Sitakaliism is the spirituality I created for myself when I was fourteen years old. After going through a phase of depression, and a bout of God-hatred, I managed to find myself in a series of young-adult fiction novels called The Last Vampire. I used the main character, Sita, as the main goddess in my eclectic pantheon. Kali is my favourite of all the gods in existing religions, hence the name Sitakaliism. Potential, not some abstr...

VampireOwlCat: Tell it like it is!
http://vampireowlcat.blogspot.com/2007/08/tell-it-like-it-is.html
I can see three times as well in the dark! Friday, August 10, 2007. Tell it like it is! The people who will make a positive difference in this world are intuitive, innovative and care about this world. They do not dismiss compassion and optimism as "bleeding-heart idealism." They are aware of their faults; of their prejudices, hypocrisies, and fears. And they try very hard to be less hypocritical and prejudiced, while acknowledging that some of those faults will always exist. Tell it like it is!

I can see three times as well in the dark! Friday, June 24, 2005. I hate diamonds. They disgust me. "Only her eyes will sparkle more." Barf puke puke. It's a fucking rock that's not even uncommon; it just takes immoral behavior like terrorism to obtain the stupid things from deep mines. Buy a fucking cubic or austrian crystal! Monday, June 20, 2005. So we live by denial like lambs to the slaughter, serving empires of style and carbonated sugar water. And the old farm road's a forelane that leads to t...

I can see three times as well in the dark! Tuesday, May 31, 2005. And in the end, with all this hate and anger boiling up inside me, I just want to protect humanity; yet I must realize that I am not its mother, but a single cell within the organism. I cannot protect and nurse humanity, just as a cell cannot protect and nurse an organism. All cells must work together to create a balance. One cannot be stronger than the others. Thursday, May 19, 2005. Saturday, May 14, 2005. A lot of working-class and poor...

I can see three times as well in the dark! Tuesday, August 08, 2006. This race, which creates such beautiful music, such beautiful dreams, that ponders such deep philosophies, that colors the world with such magnificent cultures, such radiant spiritual insight; and this race, that destroys itself, inflicts such devastation and chaos, that hates with such passionate rage; the love that I feel for this race cannot be surpassed by any other love. Such is the wonder of this race. There is no such race. I am ...

I can see three times as well in the dark! Wednesday, November 16, 2005. The Disappearance of the Universe. Here are a few of my other critiques from the beginning of the book:. P 16—I’m so sick of every major religion in the world denouncing physical existence as either a punishment for past errors, or, in this case, a strange natural consequence for the mistake of “distancing ourselves from the holy spirit.”. And I am sure that other creatures in existence don’t see things that way. It wouldn...P 17...
