If you're coming to Alaska, you must see Sitka! We are sometimes referred to as the little Paris of the Pacific. It truly is one of the more beautiful places you'll ever visit. Sitka has a wealth of history, starting with the Tlingit Natives that lived on Baranof Island. Living off the land, and living very well, this has always been a land of abundance. This culture lives on in Sitka today, a very proud heritage! Sitka definitely has a history to share with visitors coming to town.

Sitka Tours began in 1964, started by Mr. Gene Prewitt who was instrumental in starting tourism in Sitka. The season has grown over the years from as few as 3 cruise ship visits to as many as 170 in a summer season. We have transportation of all sizes, from large buses to small vans, no group too small or too large can be accommodated. We take pride in the fact of hiring only year round local Sitka residents.
