My Favorite Pet Charities. Do you actually meet with the pet or do you just work from a photograph? I work with photographs. My most-requested format is acrylic and pastels, which I paint directly onto a copy of the photo you send me. For drawings (pencil, charcoal, pen and ink) or watercolor paintings, I draw from the photo. Although I cannot meet all the pets I paint, it sure is fun! I do ask that you tell me a little about them so I can capture some of their personality.
