The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Tuesday, 17 November 2009. Trying to catch up. I've still got the london post in progress, which is why I haven't posted in so long. Everytime I log in, I work on it, and now it's been nearly 3 months since I posted! What have we done. We went to Donaghadee for a weekend over Halloween weekend, it was fun! Enoying candy apples at Mount Stewart). Saturday night we ate dinner at the oldest pub in Ireland, opened in 1611.

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Friday, 27 November 2009. I know it was yesterday and thoughts of turkey and pumpkin pie have long gone, but being in NI and not celebrating until tomorrow, I thought I would split the difference. I think it's important to think of what you're thankful for every day, and I try to, I just don't always say it. So here's my holiday appropriate thanks. For the tiny little person growing in my belly. Who is working so...

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Thursday, 3 February 2011. Glad He knows me so well. Does God test us to show us our limits? Right now, that seems really the only logical explanation for any trials and tribulations. He knows our limits. He knows what we're capable of. He knows exactly who we are, what we can do, what we're made of. I'm glad He knows. Right now I'm struggling with my own strength. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Glad He knows me so well.

The Davis' Irish Style: Where to begin?
http://thedavisiestyle.blogspot.com/2010/01/where-to-begin.html
The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Friday, 22 January 2010. We have been informed that 11 weeks from last night we absolutely have to be where we are going to be. I will be 28 weeks pregnant and of the 2 OBs I'm currently under (here and in America) neither of them will give me the written permission I need to travel during my 3rd trimester. Period. This, I have been informed, is non-negotiable. Where do I begin to get ready to go home? Then we have t...

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Saturday, 5 December 2009. Hazel's first Christmas present for 2009. Brett's contract is up in June of 2010. Hazel and I are moving home in April (hopefully Brett will be, too), and that leaves a short 14 weeks of life here in Northern Ireland once we're home from Christmas. She's just thrilled about everything. "Sparkwie pink, mama." We had to show daddy right away (he was at home). It was a great morning. And 2 bec...

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Sunday, 6 December 2009. I'll be pretty quick with this post. Took Hazel to the Christmas evening at Glenarm Castle tonight. We went last year and it was the best Christmas celebration. Live manger scene, live reindeer, she gets to see Santa and recieves a really nice present from him, then afterwards we all get a plate of snacks and she gets juice while Daddy and I get mulled wine or tea and coffee. And 2 become 1.

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Monday, 10 January 2011. It's what my brain feels like. There's only about 10 billion things going through my brain right now and it's making me sleepy just trying to organize any of them. I need to sew Hazel's reclaimed dress. It's cut out and ready to go, I just need to get the lead out and sew it up. But that requires me to break out the sewing machine, which I may do tonight. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Davis' Irish Style. My (almost) daily account of our adventures in Northern Ireland. Thursday, 6 January 2011. A lot has gone on in the months that have followed my last post. We're still in Northern Ireland. And will be for another year. We've had a gorgeous baby boy named, Callum Elijah. He's perfect, and amazing, and literally everything I could have ever asked God to bless me with (just like his big sis). I flew to London in September. Hazel turned 3 in September. And started school 1 week later.
