And gearing up for the three flights that will bring us to Canada tomorrow. My May 7th will last around 42 hours, as it includes a crossing of the International Date Line. In other words, my brother's 36th birthday will literally be the longest day of my life. Yesterday we flew from Melbourne to Auckland on a bumpy plane. My head still feels it.

It's very nice here, but I feel like an old person here, as it seems all the tours we get on with have a median age 30 years beyond ours. Me and Michelle are on an organic farm, doing jobs in exchange for food, stay and cool experiences. So far so good. That's still up in the air. Hiyo. NZ is finally getting a little rain. Significant drought here. Bad for farmers who can't provide sheep with water. Some have to kill them, no doubt feeling suicidal after losing their livelihood.
