On our 2nd day in Pernambuco, we spent the day at the Porto de Galinhas Beach, considered the most beautiful beach of the state. It's famous for it barrier reefs and is best visited during low tide. August 31st to September 5th, 2006. We stayed 5 nights in Rio, at the Hotel Praia Ipanema. It was a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, family, enjoy the local cuisine and do some shopping. Tokyo Trip 2006 - Day 3. Sunday, April 02, 2006. Lunch and Dinner at the American Club. On Sunday, March 26th, we had brunch with Uncle Gorilla's family and Baba Toshiko at the Tokyo American Club. They serve a delicious buffet of breakfast and lunch items, offering a mixture of western and oriental cuisine. The japanese call that buffet "viking". Tokyo Trip 2006 - Day 6. Tuesday, April 04, 2006. Bowling at the American Club. On Wednesday, March 29th, after returning to Tokyo from Hakone, we spent the afternoon at the American Club. Nao reserved 2 lanes at the bowling room and had a great time with strikes and gutter balls. Sho-tchan, clearly the best player in the kiddie group. Celebrating a great shot.
