Our Family of Five. Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen. Boy am I behind on this family photo album, I mean blog… almost 3 months at this point. Which isn’t THAT long, but its the little things I want to remember that I can only really capture when writing in the moment. This was certainly one of those times. We had so much fun pulling his costume together with MorMor’s socks, Aidan’s old pants, a dress shirt and drama closet flourishes. He put his all into the performance and it showed! Look at that face!

Our Family of Five. Father’s Day at the Beach. We had a beautiful Father’s Day 2014 a the beach, complete with amazing weather, ultra-low (negative) tides and a Scripps Alumnae gathering in Netarts. Every year the amazingly generous Merillee and her husband host a Scripps gathering at the coast. We’ve never managed to make it there until this year, so glad we did! I ate an oyster and didn’t even mind it! The boys enjoyed playing cards in Merilee’s beautiful yard. Sweet kids, sweet Dad. August 25, 2014.

Our Family of Five. Max’s School Dance. I think the kids did more eating than dancing. But some dancing did happen. Iyana really got into the spirit. July 20, 2014.
