Barry The Blade: August 2009
http://barry-the-blade.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Just my opinions, daily existence observations and, occasionally, something intelligent. Saturday, August 29, 2009. I recently decided, after much consideration and weighing of the proverbial pros and cons, to discontinue my service with AT&T. This meant that I also had to give up the full use of my beloved iPhone. To many, especially those who use this device on a daily basis, such a step is akin to technological sacrilege. However, I had my reasons. Blogged with the Flock Browser. Sunday, August 9, 2009.

Letters To My Husband: Dear Jonathan
http://letters2jonathan.blogspot.com/2010/08/dear-jonathan_09.html
Letters To My Husband. Open letters to my husband while we go through the last stages of kidney disease. Memories of our time spent together, the good, the bad and the ugly. And then the beyond. Monday, August 9, 2010. My heart is breaking for you right now. You also had the courage to stand up in front of everyone and publicly apologize to me for trying to push me away from you for the past year for selfish reasons. You didn't want to see me suffer and go through the pain and sorrow of losing you...

Sunday, August 22, 2010. We've been so busy lately that I've not had a chance to post anything. We see the Cardiologist next week, all your test point to a very strong heart, just the kidneys of a very old man. You've had a really rough weekend. Not feeling very well at all, up and out of bed really early Sat...

Friday, September 3, 2010. Another L O N G week. You spent most of it in bed. Today you went to work, and I know you will be in bed for the next 3 days. That makes me so sad to see you so debilitated like this. It just never ends for you does it? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a Sunny Mummy. Follower of...

Letters To My Husband. Open letters to my husband while we go through the last stages of kidney disease. Memories of our time spent together, the good, the bad and the ugly. And then the beyond. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Well, today was D-Day, last day of the month and we are no where near having everything done that needed to be accomplished by today. And ya know what. I'm not that stressed over it. It's just going to get done when it gets done. I have to or I'll go crazy right now. I am a Sunny Mummy.

Observations of a widowed father. Music Monday Swan Song. November 15, 2011 Tags: Dating. That’s what the Comment box is for.]. Like most of us who aren’t dead (Widower joke. Ha fucking ha.), a good song can make me cry. Heck, a BAD song can make me cry, but it’s gotta be a really GOOD bad song. Most of the time, it doesn’t take a Psychology degree. Funny the way it is, not right or wrong. Somebody’s heart is broken and it becomes your favorite song. I first heard this song on Bride of the Noisemakers.

Letters To My Husband. Open letters to my husband while we go through the last stages of kidney disease. Memories of our time spent together, the good, the bad and the ugly. And then the beyond. Monday, August 16, 2010. And yet another emotional filled week has passed. Decisions to be made, frustration abounds, tears erupt, and through all of this we need to keep God the center of it all. I just never imagined that we wouldn't have 10 years together. Why is God doing this to YOU? It's going to be awhile ...

Barry The Blade: Been quite a while...
http://barry-the-blade.blogspot.com/2009/05/been-quite-while.html
Just my opinions, daily existence observations and, occasionally, something intelligent. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Been quite a while. Okay, so I haven't written in quite some time. In fact, this is my first posting for this year. There has been little outcry from what I can see on the news, so I guess everyone did alright without my gibberish. However, I will try to throw a few things up occasionally to try to quench your insatiable thirst for horse shit. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
