Pushing Past the Pounds: Hi! And Hiatal Hernias
http://pushingpastthepounds.blogspot.com/2013/08/hi-and-hiatal-hernias.html
Pushing Past the Pounds. There is so much life to be lived, so many mountains to climb, so many joys to experience. Come with us as we release our imprisoned best selves and discover all we've been missing. How Are We Doing It? Wednesday, August 21, 2013. A hiatal hernia is a condition where part of your stomach pops up into your esophagus. It can give you heartburn and it can make it really hard to eat. In some severe cases, people have surgery to push that puppy back down where it goes. Say it ain't so!

Pushing Past the Pounds. There is so much life to be lived, so many mountains to climb, so many joys to experience. Come with us as we release our imprisoned best selves and discover all we've been missing. How Are We Doing It? Sunday, November 2, 2014. First off, I want to thank all of you for the outpouring of support you've given me since I announced what's going on with my back. You've blown me away with your caring and concern. Thank you! What's going on with me currently is as follows. The main str...

Saturday, November 15, 2008. I have been getting lots of phone calls and emails from family and friends asking about Kelly and how he is doing. I thought this might be the easiest and quickest way to get the word out to all of you who have shown love and concern. He has taught me the meaning of faith and what it means to never give up. I love you Kelly. The Things You Learn About Your Friends. Good and their cookies were to die for. While we were waiting in line, they brought around a sample bowl of ...

Jennie's Boring Life: February 2010
http://jenniesboringlife.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The life and fun times of me. Friday, February 5, 2010. So, down 2300 East from my condo is a home that has a goose and some ducks in their yard year round. I guess they have guard geese instead of a guard dog? It is funny to see some birds in a yard just chillaxin! Especially this time of year. I thought birds flew south for the Winter? I have always been kind of scared of geese. Well, at least the ones at parks that chase you! Those are mean suckers! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

ruminations: January 2010
http://pwells1997.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 7, 2010. This Christmas we had a houseful of monkeys! Three - Holly, Sam, and Max, who live with us (and their parents) and two more - Zoe and Jim, who came to stay for nine days over the holidays. Oh, and they brought their parents, too. So, eleven people in our little house. But Christmas was so fun! You just can't have Christmas without kids around. Christmas morning, the presents so overwhelmed the tree that they spilled all over into the living room. Max and Grandpa playing around.

Buttimore's Books: Ghost Writing
http://buttimoresbooks.blogspot.com/2010/11/ghost-writing.html
Monday, 8 November 2010. Dawn French is everywhere at the moment because she's just published her first novel. I love Dawn French; she was superb in. The Vicar of Dibley. And she makes it OK to be fat, but I confess that despite acknowledging her comic genius generally, not for one moment, when I heard her talking about her novel on Radio 2, did I actually believe she'd written it. Since I learned this, I have come to realise that. So would I ghost write? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A library for me: November 2012
http://alibraryforme.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
A library for me. Where family and books collide. Messy but educational. Friday, November 9, 2012. Middle of the night thoughts. The whole election thing was depressing. Not the results so much, though I did not vote for the winner, but the reaction. I do think that anything said within 24 hours of such an emotional event should be discounted but I couldn't help but be worried by the extremes represented by some comments. And the people were divided one against another; and they did separate one from ano...

A library for me. Where family and books collide. Messy but educational. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. So Many Books, So Little Time. But sometimes you just have to write some things down. Like this book, So Many Books, So Little Time: a Year of Passionate Reading. On her bookshelves :. You might not be able to figure out what's going on organizationally, but I have a Rain Man-like capacity to visualize the books, almost title by title, and put my hand on any one within seconds. On her side of the bed:.

Autumn's Blog: Triathlon Update
http://autumnabruner.blogspot.com/2011/03/triathlon-update.html
Saturday, March 5, 2011. I made a couple of significant milestones this week, training for my mini-tri. First, on Wednesday, for the first time ever, I swam 4 laps without stopping. That's the full 200 meters that I need for the tri. Exactly one month before the race. Hallelujah! Then, today, I did my own little mini-tri at the gym. 200-meter swim, 5-mile bike (on a stationary bike), and 1.5-mile run. It was very hard, but I did it! Anyway, one month to go, and I'm starting to get excited for it! Subscri...
