Beyond the Stars: Video: Dying Days of the Paradise Garage
http://ultraastrum.blogspot.com/2013/06/video-dying-days-of-paradise-garage.html
Friday, 7 June 2013. Video: Dying Days of the Paradise Garage. This remarkable 2 hour long video surfaced earlier. It seems to be made up of extracts from the last week at the Paradise Garage and some from the last night itself. I’ve spoken to a few longer in the tooth club goers in New York and none of them have seen this before. Little bits of it, but not all 2 hours! You can also check out the Paradise Garage Top 93 as published innDJ Mag in 1993 here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Beyond the Stars: December 2012
http://ultraastrum.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 29 December 2012. Mix: DJ Sotofett on Greta Cottage Workshop Radio. I don’t know much about. DJ Sotofett other than he’s from Norway and he’s involved with cult Norwegian label Sex Tags. Cool Pics: Delano Smith and Ken Collieer, 1982. You can check that whole Bleep 43 Beatdown interview here. This really is ch...

They looks damn good too, don’t they? I want one. I want one so much I might go to a Little Winter Of Love. To buy one. If you’re interested too, check the link. Or just look at the pretty picture! http://ultraastrum.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 21 April 2012. Vinylmania NYC = Vinyl Heaven. I recently stumbled cross a you tube video of the warehouse where all the deadstock from the legendary New York record shop, Vinylmania in is stored and it reminded me of what an absolutely fantastic place it was - almost a fantasy record store. I first visited the shop long after the Garage had shut up but experienced a tiny but of what had been, travelling there after a night at the Sound Factory. And buying records we had heard Junior play the ni...
