Thursday, July 19, 2007. I imagine something cool I want to achieve and catalog it away for a rainy day. I take note when I see something I cataloged on another site I happen upon. I press Ctrl U (read: "View source"). I sift through to the good part and see if it's something done without javascript (which I don't know how to use). If it's javascript, I sigh and move on. Otherwise, I move on to step six. I then read through and try to understand how the tag and its parameters work. Why I Prefer Tuesdays.

Thursday, June 30, 2005. Monday, June 27, 2005. Isn't it funny how we humans can invest multi-million - possibly billion - dollar budgets into comparatively trivial projects such as searching for extra-terrestrial lifeforms. Or inventing new and fabulous ways at self-annihilation. As a species, when that same money could be used to end world hunger or other fanciful ideas that select indiiduals have so romanticized about. we are. Right in the middle of the battle! And why did God give them into the Israelites hands? Because they trusted in God. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. In the s...

Ruminations and Ramifications: Distractions, distractions
http://ruminationsandramifications.blogspot.com/2010/10/distractions-distractions.html
Wednesday, October 06, 2010. Lord, grant me the heart of repentance and humility necessary to seek out the wisdom found in Your Word alone. May I never merely accept my own understanding of scripture without asking You first for your aid in understanding. And may I not be lazy about seeking out wisdom, halfheartedly as if it was not worth the immeasurable value your Word tells me that it is. Posted by Marcian @ 1:51 PM. Tuesday, September 07, 2010. I am reading through Spurgeon's The Saint and his Savior: The progress of the soul in the knowledge of Jesus. Here is a tidbit I will be thinking on a bit more:. Let not a libation of tears be the only offering at the shrine of Jesus; let us also rejoice with joy unspeakable. If we have need to lament our sin, how much more to rejoice at our pardon! If our previous state moves us to tears, shall not our new condition cause our hearts to leap for joy? First and foremost, a sin...
