This weekend I joined my friends at a retreated organized by the student fellowship of MCCC (Manchester Chinese Christian Church). It was at Westwood Christian Centre in Huddersfield, a small town (? Some pictures… (I hardly took any, just random snapshots on my bb). Climbing 1 km uphill with our load. Don’t these flowers look pretty? They look like they are dyed. Freedom in Christ, Yay!

Do you hear what I say? | Beauty from Ashes

https://hazelmay.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/do-you-hear-what-i-say

Things to do before I leave `. December 13, 2012. Do you hear what I say? Ok that’s a rhetorical question, but there’s something I really need to talk about (to someone or not, for me it’s usually best to someone when I really need to talk) but I realise this is potentially tricky…. Why does this seem like a mind boggling issue that creeps up on me and it’s a conundrum only because I don’t have the faintest idea how it even became a problem, much less know how to work it out… Grr! So why has this happene...

Things to do before I leave `. October 30, 2012. Hello there, (If anyone still reads this space). Ok I know that November will soon be upon us and I’m only at Hello 2012! But it’s time to clear out the “cobwebs” and update things around here.🙂. But I think the smallest of things make a difference, one’s physical and emotional state and well-being, physical location, general comfort, privacy and importantly, and perhaps what was lacking most – personal space…. A little something to brighten your day!

It has a public park at one end and a strip club at the other. Despite facing a myriad of social issues on a daily basis, residents of Emond Street are making positive changes to their environment. This is, in no small part, due to the efforts of two women, Karen and Charlotte. They call themselves guerrilla gardeners. What is guerrilla gardening? Karen: To me...
