Over 400 children, from ages 4 to 14, think it's the place to be to learn the game of Soccer. Staten Island Soccer League. 2012 - Summer Soccer Clinics. Arrive hour before the start of the game. The time will be used to warm up and practice. Make sure your child has eaten a light meal before the game. All players must wear uniforms, shin-guards and cleats. Girls must not wear earrings, rings, bracelets or ponytails with plastic balls (use rubber bands or plain ponytails and sweat bands). Children should not bring their soccer balls (leave them home). Bring a bottle filled with water to the games.
