Susan's First Cross-Country Trip-September 2009. Tuesday, September 8. Monday, 9/7 (Labor Day) - DAY THREE. Left OKC at 8:20 AM (CST), arrived Albuquerque, NM 3:45 (WST). 8 hours, 45 minutes, 518 miles. Traveled western half of Oklahoma, Texas, and eastern New Mexico. Western Oklahoma is much prettier than eastern, though the roads are still very bad. HPD was out in force in Texas, though the majority was on the opposite side of the road. Most folks were wearing Texas Tech, Texas A&M or Texas shirts.

Susan's First Cross-Country Trip-September 2009. Sunday, September 6. Sunday, 9/6 – DAY TWO. Left Nashville at 7:20 AM, arrived Oklahoma City, OK at 5:45 PM (CST). 105 hours, 711 miles. Traveled through the western half of Tennessee, all of Arkansas and the eastern half of Oklahoma. Tennessee was THE BEST! Arkansas roads were not good, but Oklahoma roads were just horrible.
