Lil Dragon @ 33rd week. The monthly gynae visit is now fortnightly. That just means THE day is drawing closer and closer. ;). I didn’t do any scan today since we just saw the lil dragon 2 weeks back. I know he’s doing very well judging by the growth of my stomach and his more frequent and “violent” movements. Guess he’s feeling the space constraint now. Oh, guess what? Right after the check up on 31st week, my appetite took a turn again! This week has been better, 2 meals a day or 3 very small meals.

Lil dragon @ 26 weeks. The boy has reached his 1kg mark! And mummy has put on 3kg in the past 6 weeks, which is a good sign as it shows my appetite has improved. The CNY goodies must have contributed to the increased weight too. :p. I must have forgotten what it’s like. Compared with S, J (yes, this dragon’s name will start with J) is a lot more active in the tummy. And fussier too! He will also perform acrobatic stunts if he doesnt like how mummy is seated on a chair/couch! February 8, 2012 at 5:02 pm.

When I previewed this pic I took this evening, I was a little overwhelmed. S looked different. Yes, she looked grown up! Having spent almost 24/7 with her, I am sometimes blinded by the speed and progress of her growth. I know I will fondly miss this part of her life. Greatest Love of All. I’ve always loved this song. The DJ played it this morning as I drove S to school. But a strange thing happened today. The lyrics jumped out at me…as if I heard them for the first time. I googled for the lyrics…and kinda understood why I had felt the way I did this morning. Perhaps, for the first time, I was listening to her song in the capacity of a mum, and not just an audience. RIP Whitney Houston. Thanks for the reminder you gave me through your lyrics. A lonely place to be.
