Lucky in this Town. An accounting of our family journey toward opening The School of Rock in Oak Park, IL. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Blogging is Like Dieting. Just like a diet. You announce your good intentions, tell all of your friends, bore everyone with the details and then fall off the wagon. This is really pretty boring reading, isn't it? Tomorrow, we meet with our architect to talk about the buildout, the overall building design and the exterior finishes. I can't wait! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Lucky in this Town. An accounting of our family journey toward opening The School of Rock in Oak Park, IL. Saturday, December 17, 2011. For the very few people who read this blog, my sincere apologies for not posting more often. I don't have a clever theme or idea for this post (but as I am writing this, I did just think of an idea for my next post - think, rock and roll design ideas). So, this one will have to be a "straight up," as Abigail would say, School of Rock update. Friday, December 2, 2011.

Reflections on a life in medicine, art, and Pasta. Monday, August 24, 2015. I LOVE WHEN THIS HAPPENS. 8-24-15 A CONCOTION OF INGREDIENTS. Cooking tonight’s dinner was pure pleasure. It began with a simple idea to utilize the veggies in the fridge, and evolved on the stovetop. The plan was rather simple. The day began with asparagus, fresh Roma tomatoes, and chicken breasts that had to be used. I started by cooking the mushrooms, leek, and a clove of garlic, in olive oil over moderately high heat.
