Thursday morning I went in to work at 7 am with the weather beginning to rain a bit. By the time I came outside at 9:30 the car was iced over. As Cooper put it, Sunday birthday's are the worst because you can't do anything and you can't go out to eat. Despite this, we invited the Tibbitts and Long families over to enjoy a Costco chocolate layer cake, mint hot chocolate cupcakes and ice cream. 4 of a kind. Spence, Julie, Coop, Sav, Madd and Magg. Saturday, February 9, 2013. Saturday morning was day 3 of snow. Parleys Canyon was listed as snow chains or 4 wheel drive. After 45 minutes of trying to find another way up the canyon I threw the cable chains we had in the car, said a prayer and headed to Park City Resort. Savannah's teacher was Maddie. She was a quiet and nice girl. Savannah lasted an hour until she needed snacks and a drink. Skiing is hard work! I felt like an exhausted pack mule.

4 of a kind. Spence, Julie, Coop, Sav, Madd and Magg. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Cooper Spent the month with either Tanner OR Will. I tried to get them to play slip and slide or jump in the sprinklers on the tramp. They really just wanted to do their thing. Spencer went on High Adventure to Escalante. I avoided the Curse of Scout Camp, unless you count my phone dying at Kangaroo Zoo and I had to go to the Apple store to get it up and going again. That was a drag. Most exciting was forgetting our Anniversary!

They did rather well on the plane ride both ways so I was very happy about that! When we went outside, Abby looked at the palm trees and said, "Those are funny trees. Johnny, Christy, Abby, Katie and Cali. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Abby had a week long summer camp at the Historic Grooms Tavern. They did crafts, played games, and just had fun for 3 hours. She loved it! She asked when she could do it again. Of course Katie had to get a picture with her in it too. We had water balloon fights this summer with the neighbors. Everyone enjoyed popping a balloon on their own heads though. The kids had so much fun. Katie loved it and didn't want to come back to shore.
