Long time no hear. Dec 30th, 2011 at 3:20 AM. Likely last post of 2011. Back in Bellingham(ish), at least temporarily. Trying to figure out that whole income and housing thing. Not a lot of playtime. I have been up odd hours, looking at the internet. The internet is a wonderful thing- it has reminded me why I don't go to church. Christians: Being and Asshole in God's name is using his name in vain. This follows for any faith whose central tenets can be summed up as "Don't be a dick.". DON'T BE A DICK!

Apr 29th, 2011 at 12:35 PM. I have been on LJ for years. Many friends were here for years previously and dragged me here. We all have our lives, but I used to see a little broadcast from folks I knew. Everyone drifts into their works and other nodes and modes of communication. It is the natural flow of things. Giraffes in the Mist. Oct 24th, 2013 at 1:23 PM. Yesterday morning, I went to the zoo. I was lucky enough to spot the new baby giraffe, Misawa, just as I got there. Right when the fog was thickest. What's that he's poking at on the ground? Why, a delicious dead maple leaf! Something's happening on the other side of the enclosure. I hope he doesn't forget his leaf. Note that Misawa is just under eight feet tall, and the giraffe in the background is like eighteen feet tall. False perspective!
