The Wizard of Oz. Please read our Admissions Policy and Policy of Enrolment in conjunction with the procedures outlined below. Applications Forms are forwarded to parents on request. Applications are accepted for children of any age. On receipt of an application form it is filed according to the year of entry stated on the Application Form. The deadline for receipt of applications is the second Friday in October prior to the year of entry. The Assessment Tests are held in early February.

The Wizard of Oz. Skerries Community College has a well-equipped and active Learning Support Department. The goal of the Learning Support Department is to support students within the curriculum and to help them realise their potential. The department uses IT to support their work on spelling, vocabulary and reading. The Psychological Support Service of Dublin Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board supports the Learning Support Department in its work.

The Wizard of Oz. The College is very active in Rugby. We have three teams that take part all the competitions organised the IRFU. We have had many successes and achievements. We are supported and helped by the Skerries RFU. GAA is very popular in the school with both boys and girls. We take part in all school competitions and have achieved various levels of success. The Wizard of Oz. 1916 Volunteers Visit to School. Official Opening of SCC. Visual Arts Exhibition in Ardgillan Castle. For many years now the Sixth Year Religious Education Programme has run the Ballygall Project which explores such issues as Addictions, Cults, AIDS, Mental Health, Minority Groups etc. Students are addressed each week by guest speakers representing the various groups. Each year the College organises a Sponsored Walk to help with the cost of transport for extra-curricular activities.
