This post is a shout out to Diana R., whom I affectionately refer to as Mom2 (Mom squared) because to have her presence in my life is to feel loved exponentially—she’s extra special. I want to share a beautiful gift idea that came through her when she gave me a gift for my birthday. It was a bag of three of her favorite things- I absolutely loved it! Enclosed are three of my favorite things. I love them because of the joy they bring.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Off to Hobart town. Such a restless night - some piratey character was trying to hurt us and I woke just as he was about to cut my throat! Too many convict ruins me thinks! Pub in Hamilton where we had lunch. Pubs earlier photo on wall in pub. Heritage centre building in main street. Tiny church and graveyard. We brought pressies for the boys and beads and earings and I got some scarves. The stalls with hand carved wooden things were everywhere, Jus brought some lovely things...

Saturday, February 14, 2009. Victorian Fires and Queensland floods. Well this last week or so has seen the extremes of the Australian climate. Melissa went to shop today and said that the shelves are still quite bare - more panic shopping I think - more rain is forecast. Monday, August 24, 2009. Finally some time to scrap. Well what a month its been! Justine is looking a lot less stressed now the shop has been sold, hopefully now we will all get to do things that we love - I have started dragging the Teddy bits out of the cupboard and I hope to scrap a card for Joshuas birthday which is coming up on Saturday - nothing like leaving it till the 11th hour. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Its been so long. Gosh I can't believe its been so long since I posted. We had another trip to Townsville - went to the museum to show Josh the dinosaur eggs, a special display which ended a couple of days after we were there - it was very impressive. We also finally caught up with Marg, Vicky and John for dinner and Marg also went to the museum with us. Did some shopping therapy at Spotlight and Lincraft and it was time to return home.
