Earnestly Seeking: June 2008
http://earnestlyseeking.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Oh God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you. My soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1-3. Here are some random pictures of our summer so far. Sorry for the lack of commentary, but I bet you can figure them out. :). Gotta love this girl. Lulu's half-a-year birthday party. Dan and I decided to have a little 6 month birthday party for Lulu this past Sunday. She's growing so fast! Just about a million pictures (and all out of order, I'm sure).

Oh God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you. My soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Psalm 63:1-3. Lulu and her pool. Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks. Lulu has been sleeping really well, taking two long naps during the day and sleeping all night (most nights)! She's been fun and happy and we're having a great summer together. I'm cherishing these moments because I know they pass so quickly. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

But, since it was so close (about 2.5 weeks) until our departure, I wasn't interested in planning another trip. Thankfully, Jonathan was happy to plan our trip for us. We departed Tokyo by shinkansen. Hiroko and Addison see what it's like to be Mona Lisa. For dinner...

Our last day in Okinawa (February 25, 2008) was a short one to be sure. We left the resort early to drive back toward the airport. Our final sight-seeing destination was Shurijo Castle. We learned some history on this tour. Okinawa and 64 other smaller islands are also known as the Ryukyu. Posted by Amanda, Ian, Addison, Aiden, and Isaiah.
