Is it because even though she has never used this tec before (i just showed he how to use mine last month) it has already penetrated the human consciousness, that this tec has become synonymous with the every day? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; edgar allen re mix. Human 306 week four. Human 306 week three. This week’s readings focused on the changing environment of the work force, and the manner in which communication its self is both processed and interpreted. What new models will the human consciousness adopt? Are we seeing/experiencing the dawn of a new age in communication, are we seeing a shift towards a more “organic” model of operations? ruling class | inkfed

https://inkfed.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/ruling-class

One of my biggest pet peeves in recent years has been those LiveStrong rubber bracelets. I loathed how it turned charity into trend via an overt, look-at-me-and-how-much-i-care way. And does anyone wear them now? He’s a fierce Twitterer, by the way – he tweets almost every other hour! June 2, 2009 at 4:50 AM. Posted in cgia s2. Archive for February 2009. Also, I find that while learning to do a seamless photoshop composite is useful, and definitley a viable skill, I’m not all that interested in it. I mean to say, that those types of images, of the hyper-real environment that we find more and more in advertising and digitally manipulated photography, well, kinda bore me. I think that’s the opposite of the intended effect. February 10, 2009 at 12:45 AM. Posted in cgia s2. It’s gonna be a long week. February 3, 2009 at 8:08 AM.

I’ve changed gears on this project, and am going for my second (see fake/real post) idea. I’ve collected some images, and have 2/3 of my people shot. I’ve also sent each a questionnaire, with such hard-hitting questions as:. What are two of your favorite animals? If you could go anywhere tommorrow, where would it be?

Leave a comment ». For all the awful things humandkind has done since we got here, good must be winning because we haven’t destroyed ourselves yet. And every generation believes theirs is second to last; just as the generation saw the dawn of calculators signaling the decline of human intelligence. 8211; that a purely mental connection with a group of people eliminates animalistic instinct, or whatever it is that goes awry when mobs form. specialization is for insects | inkfed

https://inkfed.wordpress.com/2009/05/22/specialization-is-for-insects

Specialization is for insects. In this week’s reading, the idea that ‘information wants to be free’ is cited (Tapscott Williams 57). While it’s clear that there needs to be some node of reasonability to this, it raises the question of when is enough? Why are other forms of culture seen as a commodity and not an essential part of human development? May 22, 2009 at 7:26 PM. Posted in HUMN 306. What do you think should be common knowledge? Our electronic networks are enabling novel forms of collective action enabling the creation of collaborative groups that are larger and more distributed than at any other time in history. The scope of work that can be done by noninstitutional groups is a profound challenge to the status quo. Clay Shirkey, Here Comes Everybody. Everything I’ve learned so far…. Leave a comment ». So I thought i’d take a few moments to reflect on everything I’ve learned in running my little online shop, foxhunt vintage. In Toronto. She makes lovely jewellry and wanted to sell her wares through my site. So via email I picked which pieces to sell, and she mailed them to me – and they sold out within a week! I also got in touch with a girl from Victoria, Hayley Kiernan, who also made jewellry and had some of her stuff for sale, too. Posted in cgia s2.
