Journey in Motherhood: January 2013
http://journeyinmotherhood.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
A diary of sorts to share my days as a mother. Monday, January 14, 2013. I will come to you. I mentioned about a car breakdown in my previous post while on my way to my cousin's wedding rehearsal. The good thing about it is, I was parked outside the Mater Hospital at a roadside carpark. The downside? 5 words. “I will come to you”. So simple, yet it meant so much. We don't have to go looking for Him. He is here. He is with us. All we need to do is ask for Jesus to come and help, to start mendi...I'd be st...

Journey in Motherhood: July 2013
http://journeyinmotherhood.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
A diary of sorts to share my days as a mother. Monday, July 29, 2013. Was at church yesterday and had quite a few people ask how I am. When the third person asked me that question, I seriously thought about it. I don't know about you, but ever since I became a mum, I've had difficulties answering that question. Every time someone asks, "How are you? I would answer, "Very well! Or " I'm fine, thank you! But today, to the third person who asked me, I told him that that was a million dollar question. So, ne...

Journey in Motherhood: Speech Development
http://journeyinmotherhood.blogspot.com/2013/09/speech-development.html
A diary of sorts to share my days as a mother. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. About 4 months ago when my youngest turned 2y.o., I called up a speech pathologist friend. I spoke to her about my child's speech development. Well, more like lack of development. We speak Mandarin at home, she is exposed to and understands English through playgroup and church activities, and we use Auslan as much as we can. When I heard that, my first thought was, "Of course! Record, record, record! Why didn't I think of that?

Journey in Motherhood: December 2012
http://journeyinmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
A diary of sorts to share my days as a mother. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. There's always a first in everything. Physiotherapy with the electric pads didn't work. They made it worse. I went to my chiropractor and that helped to loosen the muscles somewhat. Decided to go for a deep tissue massage and the most available one was a chinese massager and I went in for 20 minutes. What a wonderful 20 minutes! Had a quick run through with the other flower girl and she was OK! I did promise her a surprise though.

Journey in Motherhood: September 2012
http://journeyinmotherhood.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A diary of sorts to share my days as a mother. Thursday, September 20, 2012. Came across this on SuperKids.com. I'm glad I passed the test! I was out walking with my then 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I asked her not to do that. Why? Because it's been laying outside and is dirty and probably has germs.". At this point, she looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Wow! Howdo you know all this stuff? Links to this post. I thought that ...

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17. Tuesday, July 05, 2005. I wonder what we shall do for Christmas. Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, meaning that any programme on the 24th cannot run too late or else everyone will fall asleep on Christmas Day Service. or the church will have to suffer another stayover in the choir room with everyone sprawled everywhere, and two computer corners: one devoted to CS-ing guys, another devoted to VCD/DVD watching people.

May You also bless Dr Loo and Irene as they come to minister to us. Grant them sensitivity and the ability to connect with our youth as they come to speak to us and interact with us on different issues. Speak to us powerfully through Your servants, O Lord. I pray You touch each of us in a special way during this camp. In Jesus's Name,. In Jesus' Name,.

TRBC Youth Blog: Operation PG27: Complete
http://trbcyouth.blogspot.com/2007/12/operation-pg27-complete.html
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17. Friday, December 28, 2007. All the photographs from the event can be found here. After about a week of planning by Ben, Daniel, Esther, May-Ann, Jeremy and Mandino, Operation PG27 was ready to launch. The sabo-sessions were done, the forfeits were bought, the appointment with pastor was set. everything was in motion. Tim acted as the "host" - a la "The Amazing Race":. But there were more people than Pastor had expected, so. SURPRISE!
