December 27-28, 2014] Skiing Steven’s Pass with friend and with Sasha in TAS Christmas Camp. Terrain was limited since the backside wasn’t open, but the mountain had light, fresh snow from a small snowstorm. July 19-20, 2014] Another great weekend at Summer Fun Nationals this year at Mt Hood! I went down with a great friend and French Disco (our City League ski team) teammate. We raced Giant Slalom on Saturday in perfect weather - great competition across age groups, a fun crowd, and we even came away with some hardware (thanks to a generous award system). The weather on Sunday wasn’t so great, but they managed one Slalom race run, and I got to free ski on my new Atomic GS skis. Tagged: #Summer Fun Nationals.

August 8, 2014] We drove from Annecy, France to Cervinia, Italy - a ski town high up in the Alps by the Matterhorn (the Matterhorn! Cervinia is a wonderful Italian mountain town. Warm people and authentic Italian food. We weren’t the only English speaking tourists, but the place still had the feel of Italy. We lived larger than we normally do, staying at the Saint Hubertus Hotel, a beautiful lodge right under the Matterhorn with an amazing combination of luxury (the rooms, spa and pool!
