This is the first time I cooked pork in the oven instead of in the crock-pot or on the stove-top. I had originally intended to stick the 1 1/2 pound tenderloin in the crock-pot to make some of my delicious apple-cider cinnamon pulled pork, but I never quite got around to getting out the crock-pot. Just another día en mi cocina. Appetizers, Sides, Salads, Soups. Bread, Pizza, Quesadillas. Monday, April 29, 2013. Preheat the oven to 400. Thaw 12 oz of frozen bay scallops. Melt 4 tbsp butter in a glass pie plate. Spread the scallops out in the pie plate in a single layer. Pour a few tbsp of stout beer over them. (I usually use white wine, but I didn't have any.so I used beer instead). Sprinkle bread crumbs and garlic powder over the scallops. Bake for 20 minutes. Posted by G McD. Hyperbole and a Half.

Sunday, November 27, 2011. 1 tbsp bacon grease. 1/8 c white flour. 1/8 c wheat flour. 1/4 c heavy cream. 1 c shredded cheese. Angel hair pasta (approx. 8 oz). 1) boil water and cook pasta, preheat oven to 350. 2) while the water is boiling, chop up the steak and cook it in a skillet. Mince the garlic and brown it in olive oil. When the garlic is browned, add the zucchini, squash, and seasonings. When the zucchini is almost done, add the mushrooms. Except this time I used Guinness, and used little enough of it that I only needed a scant 1/2 c of the white flour). I cut the pork into strips, covered them in beer batter, and dropped them into a pot of hot olive oil. I also beer-battered some mushrooms I had lying in the fridge. I didn't want to just throw away all that pickle juice.so I came up with something to throw it in. There is still some leftover though, I'll have to think of something else crazy to use up the rest of it. 3/4 c chick peas. 1/4 c pickle juice. 4 large spoonfuls crushed pineapple. Cut a large yellow squash in half, chop off the ends, and scoop out the seeds. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, ginger powder, oregano, and sea salt. Bake for 15 minutes.
