Sunflower Six: February 2014

Monday, February 3, 2014. Gilbert Arizona Temple Open House. Braden was mostly interested in the sticks. I read somewhere that if you let your children touch the temple, the temple will touch them. I have faith in that statement. I also have faith that if we give our children as many opportunities to go to the temple, that they will begin to desire it in their hearts. The feeling of peace and love that comes when even being on the temple grounds is really indescribable. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). While ...

Monday, December 30, 2013. Christmas.in Black and White. Tradition of new pj's continues. And was she ever ready to put those new pj's on! The kids decided that Christmas morning needed to start at 5:30 am.so we obliged. One of my most favorite traditions is having the kids draw a family name and shop for that person. Sydney wanted Monster High dolls more than ever, so that is what Braden got for her! Jaycee loved everything Frozen, so Morgan got her a doll and coloring book. Sydney made that happen.

Sunflower Six: June 2013
http://sunflowerfive.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. Well, this time it was my child to break their arm. Never ever would have thought it was JJ to do it first. I decided that I was not going to pay the extra $20 and we would go to Walmart and find one. Sure enough, we did find one Jay liked! I put her on it and let go so she could pedal and make sure it was a good fit. Well, the bike tipped over on her and left her with a fracture to the elbow. So instead of saving $20, I spent over $700 on a broken arm! Friday, June 28, 2013. There...

Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Jon had the opportunity to go to Philmont Scout Ranch this summer. It was a year long wait and a lot of preparation and sacrifice on his family's part. I'm glad he got to go and I think he really had a great time. I'm not sure I would want to smell my arm pits after two weeks of no showers! Family Pictures.Sort Of. Bless Sydney's heart, she always makes things memorable! The only picture where everyone is mostly descent and she pulls 'that' face! Thursday, July 25, 2013. Grandma...

Friday, March 28, 2014. Yepanother year has pasted us by and we are getting older. This little man celebrated his 7th birthday. He wanted to take dirt worms to his school class, which I love because it is such an easy treat! I love how many different expressions are captured in this series of pictures. Who doesn't love a little money, huh? His dinner request was toad in a hole (eggs and sausage really), with what looks like a little Skylander on the side! He really wanted to light his own candles. Drivin...
