Somewhere I've never seen or flown before. They have a tram at the south end of lake for tourists, but will also take your para or hangglider up for free. What a beautiful place to fly or hike or boat. Joseph Oregon, named after Chief Joseph of the Nez Pearce Tribe, is the closest town to the Lake. A little run starts the fun!

After an hour the sun finally won out over the clouds and the thermals turned on. With Fred C. on chase Reavis and I took a little jaunt to the south just to see what we could do. Here's the Pics. Rincon Valley from over launch. Reavis and Mt. St. Helena as the day turns on. Annadel and Spring Lake from base heading down the Valley of the moon.
