January 7, 2014. It’s 2014. I sit here, in class, at home, in my car, and I think. I think of 2013, the year before that, and the year before that. I think of my 17th year. I think of how we met. I think of how we met. I think of how young we were. I think of how I felt a sense of home. My heart warmed up. Life was good. It was fun. My heart was taken. I remember happiness. It’s 2014. I feel the distance. It’s stretching longer and longer. It’s a war, and both sides are defeated. It will get better.
