And then one day a friend gave me some books and I started reading them - something the old me did all the time. I devoured those books in nothing flat. And shortly after that I went scrapbooking. New Years Eve Festivities. Both stores were out of sparkling cider, so the kiddos had to celebrate with sparkling strawberry juice (it just sounds so gross). Posted by Rachel Slagle. Today we visited the Buffalo Bill Cody. Museum and grave site. It was another thing that didn't really float my boat before we went, but I am glad that we did go. Posted by Rachel Slagle. He has plenty of shape sorting blocks and I had some washable finger paints so, I figured, Why not? So, I squirt some of the paint into the little baby cereal bowls and thinned them down with a tiny bit of water (the paint we have is very gel like), grabbed his blocks, taped some paper to the kitchen table, stripped him down to his diaper and set him to work. Favorite Food Friday: Unstuffed Cabbage. What you put in it:. 1 lb ground beef. 2 cups cooked long grain rice (I use Jasmine). 1 medium onion, chopped. 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper, divided. 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt, divided. 1 - 28oz. can crushed tomatoes. 1 head of cabbage, shredded. How you make it:. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine ground beef, cooked rice, onion, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Shape mixture into eight meatballs and place into a 7 x 11 inch baking pan.
