Hogwild BBQ: Atomic Buffalo Turds (ABTs)
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2007/09/atomic-buffalo-turds-abts.html
Saturday, September 15, 2007. Atomic Buffalo Turds (ABTs). Here is another post I've been meaning to get up for a couple weeks. I posted about atomic buffalo turds. One other time, but I didn't really give them their due. We had a pot-luck party a couple weeks ago and I offered to make the appetizer. ABTs were the obvious choice. Then simply add the lil' smokies on top of the cream cheese. Give them a little push and they'll kind of stick into the cream cheese. March 23, 2008 at 11:13 AM. Hi, My name is ...

Th3Guns1ing3r: Long Hauls and Close Calls
http://th3guns1ing3r.blogspot.com/2009/03/long-hauls-and-close-calls.html
Name - Mike Smith. I enjoy computer(ing)(s), my guitars, my motorcycle, gaming in general, all kinds of music, sci-fi, reading, and just generally being lazy. Thursday, March 19, 2009. Long Hauls and Close Calls. Above photo courtesy of ihasahotdog.com. Hope they don't mind. Anyway, I figured I would jump right back in with an extended rant about my fellow drivers. Surprising, right? I grew up watching 'The Bear' coach football at Alabama. I understand that defense wins ballgames, ok? There are no lights...

After some feedback, I think moving the hobbies to here is the right thing. So I will begin the quoting of what I want to say here, and then break in after the hobbies for more commentary on the setup of the next part. So when the time came to go to college, I knew what I wanted to do; become a marine biologist! So I began ...

Th3Guns1ing3r: Candy! Popcorn! Peanuts! eh?!

Name - Mike Smith. I enjoy computer(ing)(s), my guitars, my motorcycle, gaming in general, all kinds of music, sci-fi, reading, and just generally being lazy. Friday, August 15, 2008. Last week I traveled to Toronto, Ontario for an equipment inspection. It was a pretty nice trip, except for when I got waved into immigration at the airport. I've flown into Canada twice, and both times I got the wave. So, I'm either really unlucky, or I look highly suspicious. The dome was retracted and the weather.

Hogwild BBQ: How NOT to Inject a Pork Butt
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-not-to-inject-pork-butt.html
Wednesday, November 7, 2007. How NOT to Inject a Pork Butt. Not only do I tell you of my successes in my outdoor cooking, but I'll tell you about my failures as well. Failure may be a strong word in this case because the pork butt ended up very good, but the injection was surely a failure. I didn't really see a lot of difference with the injected butt. This time around I decided to use my Eastern NC vinegar sauce. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. View my complete profile. This b...

Hogwild BBQ: Smoked Cheese
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2008/02/smoked-cheese.html
Sunday, February 17, 2008. Simply add small pieces of wood when needed. I replaced the charcoal once as well. With a little practice you'll learn what works for you and how long you need to smoke the cheese to get the flavor you want. I like mine pretty smoky, so I went 2 hours or so on these. Mmmmmm, cheese. I just told my wife that I wanted to try smoking some cheese yesterday. Thanks for sharing your technique. Seems like it would be easier to do in my offset than my BGE. Hogwild BBQ: Dedication to BBQ
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2007/04/dedication-to-bbq.html
Sunday, April 1, 2007. Well, not really dedication, because if we weren't having folks over yesterday I would have just cooked today when the weather was nice. Early in the week I looked at the weather and it was going to be a nasty week, but Saturday was supposed to be beautiful. Evidently the front was slower than the weather folk thought, so it was windy and rainy all day yesterday. I also took the time to vacuum seal the loin, ground beef, and sausage from my meat run. Hogwild BBQ: Smoking in Cold Weather
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2008/01/smoking-in-cold-weather.html
Sunday, January 20, 2008. Smoking in Cold Weather. I told you that I would be smoking a couple pork butts last Thursday, so I thought I'd tell you about them. I did three things last week that I have never done before:. Cooked in 10 degree weather. Foiled pork butts, and. Finished pork butts off on the gas grill. The coffee can got knocked over and you can see where the pork fat running out of the smoker is solidifying right as it hits the can. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader.

Hogwild BBQ: September 2007
http://hogwildbbq.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. Monthly Roundup, September, 2007. Time for another link roundup. Blogging has been light for the last week or so. I haven't cooked much and been super busy. Mrs. Hog and I have gotten busy with Church and biking (finally found a cheap trailer to haul the kids around) in the last couple weeks. When I've had free time I've been playing a little Halo 3. On the Xbox 360. Anyway, to the links! Alaina from Serious Eats visited Wilbur's Barbecue. Whitetrash rediscovered his library.
