Marching Fourth: Meet the Mutts: Part 2
http://marchingfourth.blogspot.com/2015/04/meet-mutts-part-2.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Meet the Mutts: Part 2. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Bailey was Al’s dog. They were and are two little weird peas in a pod. Bailey loves me, too, but not like he loves Al. I don’t think the man has had one moment alone since we got that dog. If I can’t find Al in the house, I just call Bailey. Then I ask Bailey to tell me where Al is, and he will trot off and take me right to him. He barks at snowflakes. It’s pure joy. Bailey sounds like fun ;o). There was an error ...

A useful site | Journeys around Britain
https://mjsphotographs.wordpress.com/2009/10/04/a-useful-site
My trips around the countryside. This is a useful site I found recently which allows you experiment with the different camera settings. It lets you see how aperture, shutter speed and sensitivity affect the exposure of picture. It also shows secondary effects such as noise, camera shake and depth of field. If you’ve always used your camera’s auto mode and want to try the more advanced settings then this is a good site to play around with. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.

My Work Flow | Journeys around Britain
https://mjsphotographs.wordpress.com/2009/04/15/my-work-flow
My trips around the countryside. This is a short description of my usual work flow when I get home with a memory card full of pictures. First I create folder hierarchy like this:. Then from within DigiKam I copy the raw pictures into that folder and create a subfolder for storing the jpeg versions in. Once the pictures are in place I go through them deleting any that I don’t like. I then apply tags for the location and contents of the picture. I generally perform the following steps:. Feed You can leave ...

I turn toward where I think the city center is an start walking, figuring I find somewhere to eat along the way. It’s a tiny town after all. A man sags past alone and lonely. Tuesday, January 22, 2013. The Cold and the Pantry. It's not fun to wake up and have the thermometer say it's only -10 out at 11:00 AM. Darkweaver's Dominion: May 2014
http://bhlr.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2014. I am a collector (okay, hoarder) of books of all kinds but I have really gone a little nuts lately in the cookbook area. I just got three in the mail that I forgot I'd ordered! I also found three a few weeks ago that I'd ordered and forgot I had. I enjoy many types of cuisine and have cookbooks for almost all of them. It was funny, a friend asked me on Facebook which cookbook I use the most and, once I thought about it, I realized it was this one:. The last few years I've also go...
