A unique group of islands which were inhabited for thousands of years and finally abandoned in 1953. The largest collection of stone dwellings in Ireland which have stood there for over 4000 years. Chorca Dhuibhne Regional Museum. Where archaeology and history are brought to life. Ancient church built over 1000 years ago.
