Random Bits About Me. I Read It, I Vaguely Remember. Two years ago my sister-in-law gave us a tomato plant in a large patio planter. A month after we sat it out on the deck it began to bud its tiny green fruit and thus began my fascination. During my smoke breaks outside, I would examine it and watch as the fruit grew bigger. Sometimes I would re-maneuver or retie the plant to a wooden dowel if I determined it was looking droopy or leaning too much. I was totally engrossed and couldn’t wait to pluck one.
