What an amazing experience it is to see the faces of all the wonderful kids as they climb into their new beds. Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Boise Build Day – December 2013. It was our kickoff to the Boise Chapter’s first Boise Build Day. It was a wonderful success. With only a few experienced volunteers available, we were still able to produce 8 bunk beds with mattresses and complete bedding. These dedicated Treasure Valley volunteers jumped right in and without missing a step, built like pros. Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Southern Idaho and Northern Utah. Must have an accessible house/apartment with an accessible room large enough to fit the bed. Able to be contacted via phone, text or email. Complete a SHP Application Form. If your application is accepted, you will need to sign the Indemnification Release Form which can be done at the time of delivery. The application may be submitted online or else printed out and mailed to Sleep in Heavenly Peace P.O. Box 116, Kimberly Idaho 83341. Use the SHP Online Application Form.

Volunteering to Build Beds for Children. There are a number of ways to volunteer:. Sleep in Heavenly Peace schedules events called Build Days where the construction of the beds are done. We take a pile of wood and with drills, sanders, saws and paint brushes, bunk beds are completed. Our simple design is easy to follow and takes no woodworking experience to learn. During these Build Days, experienced volunteers show and teach other volunteers the different stages of the construction process. June 25, 2015.
