Riding Rambler: February 2011
http://danandcassie.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The exciting life and times of the Riding Family! Monday, February 28, 2011. Today I woke up with an awful cold and felt terrible! This afternoon I checked my email and finally received word from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf regarding the NIC exam that I took back in November. I felt anxiety! When I opened it I read the following words:. We are very pleased to inform you that you have passed the NAD-RID National Interpreter Certification interview and performance test.". Do you get a medal?

From Man on Man to Zone: Libby's Baptism
http://libbynorton.blogspot.com/2015/08/libbys-baptism.html
From Man on Man to Zone. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Program design by Jeff Barlow, so thankful he shared his talents with us! How do I blog about the sacred? If I could tell Libby about the things that I remember about her baptism, I would tell her this:. A lot of people came a long way to show their love and support of your decision! Your ward family also came out in force! We had to add extra chairs to the overflow room we were using. You were beaming with excitement the whole day! All the Randalls that c...

yellow flats, green high tops: January 2013

Yellow flats, green high tops. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Disney with the Randalls. Posted by Sweet Utah. When we finally hit 6 miles, I found myself empowered. If I could run 6 miles, I knew I could make it to 10 miles. Second, I felt amazing because I did something I'd never been able to do before. I came to really look forward to our long runs. Even though there were moments during the run that were hard, the finish always made it worth it. At the resort getting ready to head out with Walter. Brad had ...

Yellow flats, green high tops. Sunday, January 1, 2012. Time and All Eternity. Brad and I were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on July 29, 2011. We debated on dates, temples, and times before settling there, and while it was a VERY busy day at the Salt Lake Temple, we were blessed to have my grandpa Alfred Kay Randall to perform the ceremony. http://sweetutah.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Yellow flats, green high tops. Friday, September 26, 2014. My last Disney post. for now. After lots of interviewing and waiting, I was offered my new job on Friday, July 25th. Brad and I were ecstatic, and spent the weekend celebrating before I took off for basically a month to finish up my onsite trips for Accelas, and get started at HireVue. We reunited in Orlando for a week together before he did his Disney hours and I went back to Utah for another few weeks of training. Brad hanging out with Miriam.

http://sweetutah.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Yellow flats, green high tops. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Home is where your friends are. A few weeks ago some of my best friends came down to Orlando for a visit. It was such a fantastic weekend, and I had forgotten how much anywhere can feel like home when you are with family, whether they are true relatives or those you've adopted in. Chrislyn and Emma with their "1st time" buttons at the Magic Kingdom. The Woolstons just before fireworks in front of the castle. Emma LOVED the fireworks. There was an ...

yellow flats, green high tops: Blue
http://sweetutah.blogspot.com/2015/06/blue.html
Yellow flats, green high tops. Friday, June 5, 2015. I have wonderful childhood memories of bedtime. My dad would sing us the Lonesome Cowboy song. My mom would tell us stories of Murphy and the Green Fairy (stories I hope she writes up and publishes one day) and sing Edelweiss. And in those moments when my heart was troubled, my mom would listen to my worries, and tell me to think of "blue". Posted by Sweet Utah. June 8, 2015 at 12:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Yellow flats, green high tops. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Our Magical World of Disney. Since Brad works at Disney we have done our best to take full advantage of our opportunities to visit the parks together, and to drag friends along when we can. It's usually not too hard to convince people to go spend a day at Disney World, especially when it's free. Here are some of our Disney adventures, and the friends we've shared them with:. One Saturday Brad and I decided we just needed some Disney time so we headed ...

Colorless Green Ideas: December 2010
http://adventuresinlinguistics.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Colorless green ideas sleep furiously." - Chomsky. Don't talk about syntax at parties; people will walk away from you." - Rubin. Saturday, December 18, 2010. Things I would like to tell my students. I know more than you think I know. Well-done work is easier and faster to grade than poorly done work. It takes me much longer and costs much more mental pain to grade a bad paper or test than a good paper or test. Why don't you make it better for both of us by just doing good work? I don't take it personally.
